Great Tv until the picture goes. Sound stays but no picture. This was within one year of purchase.Bought at Circuit city which no longer exists in our area. Sounds like others have the same issue with this TV. Will never purchase a Poloroid product again.

Just after one year it started getting blank screen occasionally. Now, 2.5 years it went off definitely.

We had this TV for a year and generally enjoyed it, until the DVD simply stopped functioning. Out of the blue (not as a result of being dropped, etc.) it just started making horrible crunching noises. Not a well-made product overall.

i don't know why this tv got a bad rating. the picture quality is amazing even when using the coaxial cables. the sound is mediocre, but plugging in comuter speakers fixes the problem.
my suggestion for the people complaining about picture quality is to buy a hd tuner for $200 (but cheaper on ebay) to get true over the air hdtv.

We bought this TV for our morning "getting ready" bathroom. We wanted news and weather for the day. We can only pick up two of the four channels in our area and our other TV's get the signals crystal clear. To be fair I took the TV to each location of the other TV's and STILL couldn't pick up any more signals! Just a poor performer for digital signals. Save your anguish and buy another brand.
